Tempest Glory
The Ebro Delta is a unique, vulnerable and fragile ecosystem and has been severely affected with consequences that should be studied by the great Gloria storm, a historic storm in the Ebro Lands. We deeply regret the damages and harms that the different are suffering social and economic sectors of the Ebro Lands. It is estimated that the sea has entered about 3 km inland and more than 3,000 ha of rice fields have been flooded, a third of the existing ones. This has blurred our map and we must hope that it can recover as soon as possible.
From Urbantec we will support any initiative of the local administrations so that this area is declared a catastrophic zone and that actions are taken for the conservation of the Ebro Delta and the protection of this Biosphere Natural Reserve of vital environmental and economic importance for our territory.
